I just made this trance-inducing screen saver for my Macbook Pro using Quartz Composer.

If you watch it long enough, especially in a dark room, you will eventually see the eye of God.

Or maybe you’ll throw up. I’m not sure.

It is definitely doing weird things to my eyes… The walls are bulging…

(Note: To install it on your Mac, just drop it into the “Screen Savers” folder inside your library folder. To install it on your Windows machine, first find a software engineer to port Quartz Composer to Windows, and then follow his instructions carefully…)

    hmmm,.. doesn’t look like the picture on my system (PPC, 10.4.9). My screen becomes divided virtically, the left half of the screen looks like the left half of your picture but the right half is a mirror image of the right half in your picture.

    Oh, and this should probably be avoided by those with photosensitive epilepsy.

    Did I say trance inducing? I meant seizure inducing.

    Needless to say, the screensaver passed my rigorous “works on my machine” quality assurance program.
