Etude in G Minor
Etude in G Minor, 1983I thought it might be a good idea to catalog and record all my old piano pieces, many of which exist solely in my head, and haven’t been notated or recorded. “Etude in G Minor” is something I used to play a lot in 1983, during a period when I was experimenting with a more impressionistic style. These recordings were made yesterday, in my living room, on my creaky old piano, in dire need of tuning and repair.

It’s perhaps worth pointing out that the piano is in a fairly “wet” room with a good natural reverb.

I listened to Etude in G Minor and to Crooked Waltz, and enjoyed both pieces very much. This is the kind of music sharing that I enjoy. If the sheet music were available under an attribution CC license, then I’d remold it all into ambient music :).
Also, thank you very much for the krazydad.com mini-kaleido maker. This works so well with the Logo digital sketches I make, as well as with the various fx at picnik.com. It’s a fun thing to use!
